Founder of the glassworks in Huťský Dvůr. The settlement of Huťský Dvůr was established at the beginning of the 17th century on the lower slope of Smrčina as the Planer Glashütten glassworks (named after the nearby Horní Planá). Window targets and glasses were made in the glassworks. In 1670, a fire hit the glassworks, but the glassworks was rebuilt. After the founder, Mr. Mayr and Mr. Wimmer became the next owners. Due to the non-payment of obligatory fees to the treasury of the princes of Eggenberg, in 1694 the administration of the manor took over the company under its own direction. They appointed administrator Hauer, who raised the glass craft to a very high level and began producing chalk glass. After the depletion of the surrounding wood supplies in the border forests, the glassworks ceased to exist in 1715. A farmyard was built in its place and in 1792 a new settlement for 15 lumberjacks was established here. In 1908 the village had 76 houses and 536 inhabitants. Despite the fact that in 1950 there were still 39 houses with 64 inhabitants in Huťský Dvůr, the village had a bitter post-war fate like the others in the area, and disappeared completely.
