Wenzel Fellner von Feldegg
*1724 in Nepomuk, +1809 in Český Krumlov
He was chief forest master and hunter of the Czech lands owned by the Schwarzenberg family and he was also head of the forest office in Český Krumlov. One of his tasks was to flow the wood across the Vltava river in the section of the devil´s wall in order to transport long wood and to fight Bavarian poachers. He implemented reforms that significantly influenced future hunting and forestry in Bohemia, Austria and Bavaria.
