Welcome to a cycling paradise! Fancy like doing an easy ride on deserted tarmac roads? Or would you prefer heading off into the terrain? Are you brave enough to attempt a circumnavigation of the Lipno? You can enjoy it all at Bližší Lhota, which stands right at the crossroads of the most popular cycling trails.
The hotel is literally woven within a network of cycle paths and trails. They offer trips along the picturesque banks of the Vltava and Lipno, take you up onto the Šumava peaks along the Czech and Austrian sides of the border, and if you are especially daring, can lead you right around the shores of the Lipno Reservoir. If you prefer riding through an unspoilt landscape to fighting through crowds of people cycle paths bordering roads, then you are on the right bank of the Lipno.
Besides offering a bike storage area, we also provide a workshop for washing bikes, pumping tyres and all-round servicing, as well as a charging station for recharging electric bikes.
Bicycle hire shop
Our bike hire shop offers high-quality men’s, women’s and juniors’ mountain bikes as well as road bikes. Children’s bikes, child seats and trailers are also available for the younger children. The loan of all accessories is included in the price: helmets, bags, lights, locks and tools.
